This is my second Kairosoft game and the most shocking thing i’ve noticed is the sheer amount of content for the size of the actual game. As of right now, the game sits at a measly 80mb on my hard drive but has enough content to be a couple hundred mb’s. This probably has to do with the asset choice, as the game is stylized with pixel art. That being said, as a casual simulation game it is fairly fun. The core gameplay loop is quite simple but gets the point across. Probably would not recommend at full price but with the 4 game bundle it is definitely worth.
One of the largest criticism’s is the laziness of the PC port. The UI can be buggy sometimes and definitely could look better. This seems to be a standard theme across all Kairosoft games though (The best looking being Pool Slide Story). Still, it doesn’t make the experience bad or anything. Just a minor point to talk about.
Fun at the start, then as the difficulty rises, stupid AI decisions in the court makes your blood boil. I think it’s an intentional design decision to artificially raise the difficulty by making your players stupid and the enemies geniuses, also the 3-pointers are extremely inconsistent on my own side while the enemies keep making all their shots. In any case, too much RNG bias for one to handle.
