Very Fun Game, has been downhill past year now, they have stopped caring to balance characters properly and have just added completely overloaded kits to characters. For instance a lot of characters now have no counters. Their old counters will get completly crushed now because again they threw balance out the window. Game is filled with bots because its a dead game. The way you aquire skins is threw the box scams. I really really like the actual infrastructure of the game, likes its very well made just needs more players and balancing back.Best ranked system ever seen to
Blood of steel is a 3rd person RTS styled game where you control a general that has a troop(unit) that will follow you around… The combat is surreal, and the strategies are on par with what you’d expect… Now… Lets ruin it.The game has micro transactions that, even though they offer no real “Pay to win” features, are so totally expensive that there’s no real reason to spend money on them unless you just have money to waste… (Skins, and such) So many of the unit/troop/hero skins are locked behind older Battle es or events that are no longer going right now, that you can’t even get certain looks for your characters anymore without having a time machine… The AI Pathing in this game is glitchy as well… Coming from a DAoC and WoW Player where the AI can get stuck running into a wa… Wait a sec, that happens here as well… The 4 “realm/servers” that they have available, NA / SA / EU / OCEA are way too underpopulated to be separated, however due to latency issues around the globe it makes sense, however it just seems like the population alone isn’t built to handle this type of discretion…You never really know if you’re fighting against a player or a bot… Because they have “Bot fill-ins” that act as players when you don’t match against any players in Legion War, or Siege Battles… Which really puts a damper on things considering that 75% of your matches will most likely be against bots… and that’s no real way to learn how to play the game imo…
