Through the course of your travels, you find yourself waking up in that lab over and over, but each time in the grip of a new emotion. Discover how each emotion colours your experience of the world, and the means by which you might find answers. Electric Sleep is a short pixel art visual novel. You explore a crumbling world as an emotionally driven robot after you wake up in a strange lab over and over again, but each time in the grip of a new emotion. Each playthrough is rather short and will take just about 5-10 minutes. But there’re 44 different endings, so you’ll have lots of opportunities to seek answers and discover how each emotion colours your experience of the world.

I most definitely find the idea quite interesting. Despite all those ‘routes’ being short, they have many meaningful choices. Great evocative soundtrack & nice writing skilfully make us experience all those emotions. You can’t help but dive into that pregnant atmosphere. The first playthrough was very slow-paced. I let myself be drawn by that slow rhythm but soon it began to feel too sluggish. There’s no text speed option, so then it was lots of clicking to propel the messages and make the scenes change faster. No save option but I prefer to make saves before every choice to return to it later. It’d be nice to have some kind of gallery or at least the list of endings (44 is a lot). It’d be convenient to keep track of them, at some point I lost count of how many I actually managed to achieve. There’s no guide. I still miss ‘guilt’ emotion, according to global ach stats the rarest achievement.
