Fears to Fathom is an episodic psychological horror game where each episode unveils a short story narrated by the ones who survived. In the second episode of Fears to Fathom you play as Holly Gardner, a 19 year old who was driving back home from a gaming convention, as the traffic got horrible she decided to take the long way to avoid the traffic which leads to an unplanned trip to a motel. They only take about an hour to complete which make you take in the whole experience in one night. Once you finish you ponder what if that was me. What if the bad guy would have got their way? What would they have done to me? Ultrawide resolution is also ed which makes playing on oled very immersive. Interesting characters and choices, good atmosphere, and compelling story with a satisfying ending. The combat is a little janky in the same way that Silent Hill 2 combat is. It’s definitely meant to be avoided and you can get through most of the game without fighting.
