Weapons are great, but if you could combine copies in some way it would make it more meaningful when you see lower power versions of ones you have in shops. Rather that just ignore them. Automatons dying after a couple fights made me avoid taking them, maybe if you lowered their impact and made them respawn every fight (or respawn after a repair). Would make them feel more valuable. Maybe if you have a flamethrower, a relic that lowers your max health but gives big heals every kill would suit some builds and playstyles. This would give more build variety than just the weapons you own all working independently.
