There have been many turns and turns in this voyage since the initial ISOLAND, both in the game and in real life. Like its predecessors, ISOLAND4 pays tribute to music, literature, and the arts through increasingly challenging riddles and maps. This part highlights the story’s characters, showcasing both well-known and unexpected faces. They help you solve the riddles of their own lives while helping you unearth the secrets of the island. It’s my second favorite emotionally charged game from the creator (apart from a few inventory problems that could softlock the game), and while it didn’t hit me as hard as The Elevator, it’s still a philosophical experience that provides fun escape. To test if you can solve the battery puzzle, you might try restarting the game and trying to avoid making any unnecessary movements.
