At first I liked this game. I had been playing for about 6 weeks. Even though the game was a bit slow it was enjoyable and I had earned enought gold to have a small fleet of ships and I was looking forward to getting my first settlement. Then the game took a huge dive! They changed the economy. Gold was still in play but you are now being paid in silver! The important things in the game still cost gold and you now have to by gold if you want a steelement if you want them. And of course it cost even more gold for the upgrades you will need!
