i love this game. but it gets lonely grinding away after a few hours. i also feel dlc is very slim. i would love to see mod for this game as i feel it would bring this game to life a lot more with new machines to play around with.multiplayer would be amazing and would make the base content more fun and make the leader boards more competitive.
as for the games current state, id say its good. game play is smooth and does provide entertainment for a good while. but after i put some hours in, you start to feel the world become more empty and your idea to dig the deepest hole becomes limited due to map floors.
if their was a Gold Rush 2 game, id like to see mod /workshop , possible multiplayer , and something bigger to todays standards. what i mean by that is a environment that is more lively, ai traffic/ npc’s (human and animals), maybe more shops to buy newer equipment/ mod equipment. Absolute waste of money. Played for awhile before the new changes to workers, and making the game even more punishing, then the devs promise to never go multiplayer. Tried to play again this week and it’s just not worth the time investment. This game is not worth your money. Its sad because if they changes those two problems,(workers able to produce gold again, and multiplayer) this game would have a huge player base.
