I’ve only played the first case so far, so I cannot speak to the game as a whole, but the game definitely started of strong. The detective gameplay leaves you freedom to explore theories and draw your own conclusions (Note: I played the harder investigator mode where it’s more difficult to prove your conclusions. For those that wan’t to finish the game faster there’s also a “story mode” with more hints/ mechanics and many customizable difficulty options in between. That doesn’t mean I don’t have my gripes with it. There are some smaller technical issues, for example audio levels of dialogues that I believe will be fixed in a patch or two. Also I would’ve enjoyed a German voice over it being set in a German setting and all, but at least all text can be set to German.
