I bought this game maybe an hour after it launched but I couldn’t get it started. I went to the discussions to ask for help and the developer worked with me personally to get it launched. I ended up going to the discord server to continue troubleshooting and he ended up releasing a patch to the game to fix the issue that was preventing my game from launching. This all happened in the space of about an hour! Even if this game sucks (which it doesn’t) I’m happy about this because the dev is actively talking to the community and fixing issues on the fly so that everyone can play! Since I got the game started I’ve continued to be active on the discord, asking questions, talking about stuff happening in my game, and the dev has been actively communicating with us there and answering questions about how the game works.

If you enjoyed Rimworld as I have this game is about as good but may lack the crazy factor that makes rim world just a bit better. they are so virtually alike (at the moment as in on release) I cant suggest buying it over rimworld. there is one single thing they can do to have me pick this over rimworld though. A Z axis. the ability to dig downward. and maybe expand on the industry of dwarves. there are already things like barrel hoops and the like. Im reccomending the game to those who want something diofferent but keep in mind at present this is heavily modded (if that) rimworld Definitely shows potential. Similar to Rimworld but different enough to warrant my continued interest.

I like the chaotic nature and unpredictability of the early game so far. Challenges ahead for sure! A complex but charming settlement builder in the vein of RimWorld or Dwarf Fortress. I’ve had a good time with my first few runs and would recommend if you don’t mind some interesting bugs and frustrations – the game is still very early. There are good bones here for a game that will easily dozens of hours as you work out the systems and improve your strategy.
